There is another airport in Beijing by the name of NanYuan. Though NanYuan Airport is a smaller as compared to Beijing Capital International Airport, yet it is more convenient for the tourists who plan to tour Harbin, Wuxi and Dalian.

Rail: Beijing is well connected with most provincial capitals and neighboring cities through its excellent railway hub. In all there are six railway stations in Beijing. Beijing Railway Station and Beijing West Railway Station are the major railway stations in the capital of China. Batotou, Shanghai, Moscow, Ulan Bator and Pyongyang are some of the cities you can reach traveling through Beijing railway.

Road: Beijing comprises of twelve national highways spreading across southeast, northeast, southwest and south. Apart from these, there are eight main expressways spreading over 20,000 kms in Beijing. There are nineteen bus stations in Beijing from where you can board buses to cities like Chengde, Tianjin and Datong. Zhaosongkou, Dongzhimen, Liuliqiao and Muxiyuan are some of the long distance bus stations located in Beijing.
